AlphaGraphics gears up for busy season

Teesside-based print and marketing agency AlphaGraphics has taken on 20 members of temporary staff in preparation for the busy festive season, and also added four new permanent employees to its team.

Christian Oxley has been hired as finance manager and Colin Moore as IT manager, while Sam Thomson has joined as warehouse manager and Paul McNicholas as a large-format printer.

Among the temporary additions to the AlphaGraphics team are staff working in roles such as image editors, and scanner and production operators. These roles will run throughout the festive season.

Andrew Dalton, managing director of AlphaGraphics, comments: “September, October and November are our busiest months of the year, so we needed temporary staff to hit production volumes and timescales.

“What’s more, these four new permanent hires mean that we will be able to provide a better service to our clients by being more efficient and, in terms of ISO, compliant with standards.
“Technology is now at the core of our business. Last year we established our new eCommerce division – with revenues in excess of £1.5m in less than 12 months.
“All this forms part of AlphaGraphics’ vision for the future, allowing us to fully grasp opportunities, and supporting our wider vision to deliver the very best customer experience in our industry.”
