Celebration of print

There is a great deal of excitement and anticipation surrounding The Print Show and it is a fantastic celebration of the industry. This atmosphere facilitates the formation of positive new relationships with customers and consequently, results in finding the best solutions for their businesses.

Furthermore, being able to come and see the machines in action and talk to our technical consultants is a unique opportunity to gain a great deal of understanding with regard to large-format equipment, and to have all your questions answered.

Further still, for the benefit of customers, industry shows such as this one, come hand in hand with significant offers on machines. Customers should capitalise on this opportunity by visiting printMAX at the show to get the best large-format solutions for their businesses, at better prices.

Returning to The Print Show for a fifth consecutive year, printMAX is set to create a more varied and extensive showcase than ever before, with an exciting array of large-format printing technology from brands such as Roland DG and Mimaki.

PrintMAX will be exhibiting an even greater range of machines capable of taking commercial printing to the next level

Following increasingly rewarding experiences at The Print Show for the last four years, printMAX will be exhibiting an even greater range of machines capable of taking commercial printing to the next level, resulting in increased productivity and company growth.

Window of opportunities

Phil McMullin, sales manager, ProGraphics, Epson UK

The Print Show is a shop window on a huge number of new opportunities that visitors will not see just on the web or via a brochure. From an Epson perspective, we know from past experience that our customers do not always grasp the full possibilities of our products until they have seen them in action.

The Print Show will be our first UK showing of the new bulk ink system for SureColor S series (eco-solvent) delivering significant productivity gains and enhanced profitability for volume users.

Also having its first showing in the UK will be the EcoTex synthetic leather print solution utilising the SureColor S60600 printer. In addition, expect to see exciting developments in Epson’s dye-sublimation offering and an expansion of our CAD printer range.

We will also be exhibiting the full range of our SureColor large-format print units.

The SureColor range includes eco-solvent, dye-sub, direct-to-garment and aqueous ink sets for a wide array of applications including signage, display, point-of-sale, wallpapers, décor, textiles, garments, hard substrates, proofing, photo and CAD.

We are aiming to show visitors how, with a relatively low investment, they can win more of the branding opportunities within their existing customer base

In the current challenging business climate of uncertainty and squeezed margins we are aiming to show visitors how, with a relatively low investment, they can win more of the branding opportunities within their existing customer base.

These new branding opportunities not only represent additional margin, but help to protect existing business from competitors by offering a one stop shop service.

Competitive edge

Brett Newman, chief operations manager, Hybrid Services

The Hybrid Services stand will include the latest Mimaki printers that encompass wide ranging technology that’s geared to offering our customers a competitive edge. Whether it’s through increased productivity, enhanced creativity or effortless operation, we’re looking forward to helping print businesses deliver revenue generating, high quality print.

The Print Show offers us the ideal opportunity to introduce the new printer and we look forward to demonstrating its impressive speed and creative capabilities during the exhibition

We will display the new Mimaki JFX200-2513EX flatbed LED UV printer. The timing is perfect for us to present this important addition to our direct-to-substrate line-up. With the broader adoption of flatbed printers within the commercial printing sector, The Print Show offers us the ideal opportunity to introduce the new printer and we look forward to demonstrating its impressive speed and creative capabilities during the exhibition.

Mimaki’s JFX200 range has always offered print providers the perfect flatbed printing solution, hence its enduring popularity in the UK and Ireland. With the launch of the new JFX200-2513EX, Mimaki has made substantial speed improvements, as well as adding some highly useful functionality.

The JFX200-2513EX doubles output speeds when printing with white ink in all print modes and with the addition of a new draft mode, a 280% speed increase, resulting in a maximum speed of 35sq m/h. Higher print speeds take the pressure off time-sensitive jobs and help our customers reduce lead times.

With the majority of existing JFX200 printers being commissioned with white ink, the new ‘EX’ model will deliver a powerful solution that will make a difference right at the heart of the graphics printing industry.

Value of interaction

Phil Oakley, regional business manager, large-format printing, HP

Our key aim is to demonstrate the best of our technology and applications and facilitate a forum where our customers can come and talk to us about their needs and how we can work together to inspire creativity and deliver unlimited possibilities.

HP has always recognised the value of being able to interact directly with customers to showcase our innovative large-format technologies, so following a successful Print Show in 2018 we signed up to return.

At the show, HP will have the first UK showing of the new HP Stitch S series – a portfolio of digital textile printers that deliver precise colour-matching, designed to boost growth via décor and fashion apparel applications, as well as enabling on-demand production and personalisation.

Stitch represents HP’s entry into the dye-sublimation textile market, delivering the world’s fastest colour match capabilities.

HP will also be showcasing its HP Latex portfolio, as well as the new HP DesignJet for the first time at a UK trade show. Visitors will have access to a VIP tour of the stand to discover new soft signage, apparel, décor and large-format capabilities for engineering, public sector and enterprise markets.

The HP stand will be themed around ‘Yes Unlimited’, showcasing how our broad and versatile portfolio enables customers to say 'Yes' to any request, regardless of the schedule or applications
