Screen eyes packaging with new inkjet launch

Screen Graphic Solutions has unveiled a new high-speed, water-based inkjet system designed to help users enhance their offering in the growing flexible packaging market.

The new PacJet FL830 can handle media up to 830mm wide at speeds of up to 75m/m, which Screen says places it among the leading machines in its field.

The machine can also print at a resolution of 1,200 dpi using CMYK and white water-based inks that conform to relevant food safety regulations, which Screen says is essential for the food products industry.

At present, the PacJet FL830 handle both PET and OPP media, but Screen says it is working to further expand compatibility, based on industry requirements.

“Thanks to its outstanding quality and productivity, the PacJet FL830 is able to meet a wide variety of print needs, ranging from promotional to production applications,” Screen says.

“We intend to continue its development of proprietary products and solutions specifically created for the package printing field.”
