Potts Print also runs two Roland 700 HiPrint presses
Feature on the Evolution six-colour press include TripleFlow inking, which Potts says will deliver more control than any other technology.
It also offers the new SelectDryer hot air IR/TL system that recirculates vented air and cuts down the amount of air sent into the atmosphere, which in turn will help to reduce running costs and producing fewer carbon dioxide emissions.
In addition, Potts says that the automatic plate loading technology and the InlineColourPilot 3.0 system will help deliver cost savings and higher productivity.
Shaun Johnson, managing director of Potts Print, comments: “We are very excited with the purchase of the Evolution and look forward to its delivery later this year.
“We have developed a strong relationship over the last 15 years not only with Manroland, but also with the Langley group. The suppliers we looked at prior to the deal are all very good at what they do and how they do it.
“The main thing for Potts was that Manroland has a proven track record in maintaining and servicing our machines, which run 24 hours a day, six days a week.”
