Roland Academy widens education efforts

Roland Academy, the educational training and support structure run by Roland DG, has published a series of special webinars on its website to help members of the industry improve their knowledge and skills.

Among the subjects featured in the webinars are printer/cutter tips and tricks, colour matching and working with ChromaLuxe

The webinars were first shown last year, but Roland Academy is keen for the content to reach and help as many people as possible, with users now able to catch up on demand.

Webinars include those specific to Roland systems, such as New VersaWorks 6 overview, and BN-20 printer/cutter tips and tricks, as well as more general webinars covering colour matching for beginners, working with ChromaLuxe and designing for UV print.

Joe Wigzell, Roland Academy manager, comments: “The Roland Academy webinars are perfect for Roland users who want to get the most out of their investment, but we want to help all print professionals learn new things, develop their skills and grow their businesses – whether they use Roland equipment or not.

“We’re building up a valuable webinar library that people can access any time they like or watch again and again to really cement what they’ve learnt. It’s an excellent resource for the Roland community.”
