The UK Graphic Awards is preparing for its fourth award ceremony which will take place in Birmingham on October 4th, 2023.

In its latest update, the awards ceremony has revealed the finalists for its 14 categories including Branded Interiors, Retail, Events & Exhibitions, and more.

Also at the ceremony is the Rising Star award which recognises an individual in the industry under 30 who has shown exceptional understanding and growth. The UK Graphic Awards says this category has seen the greatest increase in entries, demonstrating a hopeful change for the next generation of printers.

Entrants had up until late spring to submit entries, with the awards attracting work from companies across the print, wide-format, and signage sectors.

A panel of independent judges sifted through record numbers of entries according to the Graphic Awards, eventually settling on a list of finalists.

Finalists include Hollywood Monster, MacroArt, and Signbox, which have seen a number of projects nominated across the Live Events, Exhibitions, and Branded Interiors categories.

The companies have also been nominated for Wide-format Print Company of the Year: 30+ employees, along with last year’s winner FaberExposize UK.

The Under 30 Employees category has listed Coastline Graphics, Imageco, Semaphore, Vision Sign and Digital, and Grapefruit Graphics as finalists, with many being nominated for the award for the first time.

The awards have also attracted businesses such as Envision Media, Into Print Digital, Sapphire Signs, Service Graphics, and Mauveworx in the Retail, Museums & Galleries, and Leisure & Hospitality categories.

Nastia Bodnaruk, project co-ordinator for the UK Graphic Awards, says: "We've been blown away by the response from the industry and the quality of entries submitted. It was so hard to whittle these down to a shortlist, never mind having to come up with the winners.

“I don’t envy the judges for their job, but I do know they have the knowledge, experience, and deep understanding of what makes a great project to make the right choices.”

Tickets for the ceremony are available to purchase on the UK Graphic Awards website along with the full list of finalists.

The ceremony will take place at a Gala Dinner at Birmingham Town Hall on October 4th.
