Printeos drives digitisation with Tau 330 RSC

Printeos Group, a specialist in adhesive label production, has invested in a new Durst Tau 330 RSC inkjet single-pass press in an effort to boost its digital service offering.

The new Durst Tau 330 RSC is now in place at Printeos Group’s Adhesivos del Segura operation in Murcia

The group has installed the machine at its Adhesivos del Segura branch, which is located in Murcia in south-east Spain.

Carlos Coll, label division manager at Printeos, says digital print will play a major part of the groups’ medium- and long-term strategy in the label market, and the new Durst will support this focus.

“Our first objective was to reach the capacity to digitalise at least 10% of Adhesivos del Segura production in the first year,” he says, adding: “To achieve that goal, we needed high productivity systems.

Durst’s Tau RSC systems stayed ahead of the competitors’ proposals and were the only ones that could meet both requirements simultaneously

“In addition, the demanding markets we work in require a heightened level of quality, and today not all inkjet solutions are able to offer that.

“Durst’s Tau RSC systems stayed ahead of the competitors’ proposals and were the only ones that could meet both requirements simultaneously.”

Coll adds: “Printeos Group has ambitious objectives and we expect growth at respectable rates, but we know to get it we will have to do our best and be prepared to satisfy any new requirements demanded by customers in the future.”
