Hall 5, Booth A02

Kodak will demonstrate technologies for both digital inkjet printing and traditional offset printing at drupa 2024.

The manufacturer will be highlighting its KODAK PROSPER ULTRA 520 press, powered by KODAK ULTRASTREAM continuous inkjet technology.

This high-speed press, which is driven by the KODAK 900 Print Manager and integrated with the KODAK PRINERGY workflow, will be demonstrated with the newly launched versatile KODAK manufactured pre- and post-press finishing solution.

During the exhibition, the press will be printing various applications at full production speeds of up to 152mpm on a range of substrates, demonstrating the KODACHROME inks it uses.

The PRINERGY platform will play a key role at Kodak’s booth due to providing a single, integrated, and future-proof workflow solution that consolidates production across digital and analog. Features of the newly announced PRINERGY version 11.0 will be highlighted.

Visitors will also be able to explore the PRINERGY Business Solutions fully integrated MIS/ERP, e-commerce and collaboration software solution; and the KODAK PRINERGY Access content management solution.

Debuting at drupa will be the new wide-width KODAK PROSPER imprinting solutions for hybrid packaging and commercial print applications. This imprinting technology enables printers to enhance their existing analog equipment with flexible digital capabilities.

For traditional offset, Kodak is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its KODAK SONORA Process Free Plates. These can reduce costs in pre-press and the pressroom and improve sustainability.

Koenig & Bauer will be using KODAK SONORA Process Free plates on its Rapida during the show (Hall 15, Booth E02).

Kodak says it will unveil additional innovations within the offset sector at drupa.

Jim Continenza, executive chairman and chief executive officer of Kodak, says: “With our presence at drupa 2024, we will demonstrate our commitment to innovation across our complete portfolio of both traditional and digital solutions.

“At the Kodak booth, printers will learn how Kodak can help make their business more efficient and profitable in today’s ‘and’ era of print. To be able to serve their customers comprehensively and be successful in the market, printers today need both innovative digital technology and modern, highly automated solutions for traditional offset.”

Drupa 2024 will take place from May 28th to June 7th in the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre, Germany.
