The company had been on the lookout for a new solution that would allow it to speed up production and service more customers faster.

Duplo’s DBM-350 allows collated work to be processed from multiple printers, enabling the user to produce booklets consistently with shorter makeready times. Jobs can be set up and recalled instantly with only minimal manual intervention.

“It's still early days as the new system only went in recently but we feel that with the Dupo 350 Digital System we will be able to produce our booklets about four times quicker,” Dyer & Son director Chris Dyer says.

“There was a need to upgrade the speed and quality of our booklet making. We like the automation of the DBM-350.

“We are a big fan of the machine’s ability to crush each booklet before delivery. This means that the booklets come out much flatter and don’t spring open. It gives our work a much more professional look and I just know our customers are going to appreciate it.”

Dyer & Son’s diversified offering includes booklets, leaflets, business cards, flyers, letterheads, posters, wedding stationery, invitation cards, banners, folders and mounted boards.
