Suzanne Pitcher, client services director at Leach

Graphic display firm, Leach, has appointed Suzanne Pitcher as its new client services director in preparation for predicted further 2019 growth.

With 15 years’ experience of design, print, brand marketing and project management, Pitcher will offer a wider range of products and services to clients and will be responsible for maintaining customer service levels across the business during a time of ongoing change.

Having worked with major global brands including Manchester United and Adidas, Pitcher brings a high degree of design acumen to the Leach team.

Our service engineers often go the extra mile to support our customers in the field and really do live the Domino values and ‘Do more.’

Also strengthening customer satisfaction is Domino Printing Sciences with the appointment of Marianne Wright as its new customer experience director and Eddie Storan as head of global services.

Wright has an extensive background in customer experience and strategy having run her own consultancy business delivering advisory services to major blue-chip organisations. Storan has over 25 years’ experience in senior technical service positions.

Commenting, Storan says: “One of Domino’s key differentiators is its people. Our service engineers often go the extra mile to support our customers in the field and really do live the Domino values and ‘Do more.’”

In the Letterpress and Flexo market, Dantex has appointed Simon Cosh to manage the Dantex Relief Plate Division and internally, Andy Abbott, Dantex’s UK sales director is moving to director of operations following 17 years with the company.

Ilkka Harju, packaging services director; Iiro Numminen, structural packaging designer; Marko Leiviskä, graphic packaging designer at Metsä Board

Over in the packaging sector, Finnish fibre paperboard producer, Metsä Board, has appointed Marko Leiviskä as its new graphic packaging designer, and Iiro Numminen as structural packaging director, strengthening its design team.

Leiviskä has a strong global background working for brand owners, converters and board mills and will combine his technical skills into design and brand strategy. Numminen, an experienced designer explores new ways to use fibre-based materials. His latest innovation ‘Stretching Inner Part’ was chosen as the winner of Metsä Board’s Better with Less design challenge in 2018.

In an internal role change at Industrial Inkjet (IIJ), Paddy O’Hara, IIJ’s director of technology will move to become director of business development. Capitalising on his extensive experience of Konica Minolta’s inkjet technology and its applications, IIJ says Paddy will work to develop new and existing markets for the current Konica Minolta range.
