HP and Antalis go pink to tackle breast cancer

HP and Antalis have teamed up to raise money in the fight against breast cancer. The long-time partners within the print, and distribution industries will help raise money for cancer research with their exclusive Pink Ream product.

The limited- edition packs of HP Office Pink Ream have been specially designed to raise money for breast cancer research

Packs of HP office paper have been designed with the pink colouring and images associated with the many dedicated breast cancer organisations that have raised billions of pounds over the last few decades.

HP Office Pink Ream has been sold via Antalis for the last four years, helping to support the Think Pink Europe organisation, which works to combine breast cancer campaigns and organisations across Europe. 

To date, sales of the limited-edition paper have meant over £340,000 has been raised for breast cancer research. Currently HP is donating 10p for every ream sold, with 80% of the funds raised going towards the Pink Ribbon Foundation.

The foundation is a grant making trust that supports and helps fund various UK charities, and is fully supported by trustees, patrons, and interested parties.

The Trust’s signature pink ribbon features on packs of Office Pink Ream and can help customers to recognise the aforementioned campaign.

In a release Antalis says: “Breast cancer is the most common cause of death for women under 35 in Europe. 1 in 8 women, and men, are affected by this devastating illness each year.

“Every year there are 500,000 new breast cancer diagnoses. These sad statistics could be changed with intense research on the condition.”

HP and Antalis hope to sell as many reams as possible to raise money for these admirable charities and encourage their customers to undertake fundraising initiatives of their own.
