Five-year magazine deal for Wyndeham

It has been a busy 2016 so far for Walstead, after securing a £3m investment from private equity house Rutland Partners and Walstead-owned Wyndeham Group picking up key Immediate Media titles following the demise of competitor Polestar, and now the business reveals it has signed a five-year print deal with Time Inc.

Wyndeham will now print former Polestar titles including Marie Claire and Country Life as part of a five-year contract

All 75 of Time Inc.’s UK titles will now be produced by Wyndeham, including popular publications such as Marie Claire, Country Life, and What’s On TV, with production primarily taking place at the group’s Bicester site, which employs 321 former Polestar staff members.

We are obviously delighted to be able to provide a print solution for Time Inc. UK following the sudden collapse of Polestar

Walstead’s chief executive officer Paul Utting comments: “We are obviously delighted to be able to provide a print solution for Time Inc. UK following the sudden collapse of Polestar.

"Production of these titles will utilise resources throughout the Wyndeham Group and across the whole range of our services including sheet and web offset printing, and a wide range of finishing activities.”
