Organised by the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF), the awards aim to both promote and acknowledge the innovation that goes on in British book design and production.

The judging panel was made up professionals from the design, publishing, production and print sectors who gathered for two days of judging with BPIF’s partners at Oxford Brookes University.

The awards cover 18 categories from Best British Book to Educational and Graphic Novels. Those shortlisted from the industry include Boss Print, nominated for six categories; Pureprint Group for three, and Geoff Neal Group for the Self-Published Books category.

Head of marketing at BPIF, Anaïs Bellemans, comments: “The shortlist is a beautiful celebration of the diverse ideas, philosophies, people, processes and craftwork that underpins both the design and production of beautiful physical books.

The BPIF are truly proud to be champions of the book sector, and we’re honoured to run these awards year on year

"The BPIF are truly proud to be champions of the book sector, and we’re honoured to run these awards year on year.”
