Memjet has expanded its digital inkjet production with a new EFI partnership

EFI’s Fiery DFE solutions for printers feature DuraLink technology and have been designed for production-level digital colour printing.

A Fiery DFE has been successfully installed to drive a seven-colour digital press at the firm’s headquarters demo centre. Eric Owen, general manager of commercial press for Memjet, explains that the team and its partners are impressed with the technology’s colour and image control.

Owen says: “It also offers customers advanced job management and the ability to produce versioned and variable print runs at engine-rated speed. Fiery technology, combined with DuraLink’s speed, image quality and reliability, bring tremendous added value to Memjet’s DuraLink partners.”

The DFEs also include EFI Fiery Colour Profiler Suite software which provides colour management tools for profile creation, inspection, editing and colour quality assurance.

This partnership will bring our most advanced technologies to an even broader base of print-service-providers, packaging companies and industrial manufacturers

The Fiery XB hardware configuration is described as a “scalable architecture that keeps engines running at rated speeds to meet demanding production requirements.”

Users will also benefit from EFI’s print management software – EFI Fiery Command WorkStation. The software ensures consistency across all digital equipment such as continuous-feed devices and superwide-format display graphics printers.

John Henze, vice president, sales and marketing, EFI Fiery adds: “This partnership will bring our most advanced technologies to an even broader base of print-service-providers, packaging companies and industrial manufacturers that see the tremendous opportunity for growth in high-end digital colour print.”
