The cloud-based system aims to simplify label printing for businesses

Label Cloud allows users to centrally manage label design, product data and quality control, whilst partners and suppliers can access that information in the cloud and print labels locally.

Ken Moir, vice president of marketing at NiceLabel explains: “The labelling software market hasn’t changed much in the last decade, but with the launch of Label Cloud, we’re transforming the industry, moving it forward significantly. We’re providing a way to simplify the process, an easy way to scale up, and bring maximum benefit to businesses of all sizes.

“Label Cloud empowers all users to design and deploy labels. Ultimately this means the process is smoother and quicker, which leads to improved agility and faster time to market.

“In addition, Label Cloud’s document management system streamlines, automates and improves the quality assurance process, removing human error, risk and improving its overall accuracy.”

The solution, which is built on Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform, is aimed for use in label applications including manufacturing labelling, allergens and nutrition labelling, as well as garment re-ticketing and re-tagging.

Draako Ivaniaevic, senior partner development manager ISV for central and eastern Europe at Microsoft adds: “We are happy to see that NiceLabel recognised Microsoft as a strategic partner and that benefits of the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform are adopted in the modernisation of LMS.

“With this step they are now able to support current and new customers even better in their mission to digitally transform the entire labelling process in various industries in SMB and big enterprises.”
