The two machines have been developed to cut binding time in half

The Bindomatic Accel Ultra and Bindomatic Accel Cube will appear at the Print Show for the first time, after taking over from their predecessors.

Upgrades on both machines include cutting the binding times in half. The Ultra differs from its older model with double the amount of loading capacity, whilst also allowing batch-feeding of up to 50 documents. This cuts operator time and delivers faster production. The Cube boasts stronger bound documents and improved appearance, with binding times also cut in half.

Iain Bulllock, Renz UK managing director, comments: “Bindomatic has broken new ground with these high efficient machines that offer the most productive thermal cover binding speed in the industry and ensure greater document strength and quality.

“Someone can be trained to use these machines proficiently in less than a minute, they really are that simple to use. We are pleased to be at the Print Show with the Bindomatic Accel Cube and Ultra to demonstrate how a great quality thermal bound finish can be achieved quickly, easily and cost-effective.”

The two machines have the new ‘Drop and Go’ technology that means the machines can bind up to 60 documents per minute. Thirty times faster than other thermal tape binding systems, the Ultra and Cube also have an aim for simplicity for the user.

Both are also A4 portrait format and can handle from 1 to 150 of 80gsm paper in document spine widths 1.5 to 15mm. The Ultra Plus can work with 150 to 360 sheets of 80gsm in spine widths of 15 to 36mm.
