Integrity Print recently marked its 100th year in business by linking up with customer 3 Daggers Brewery to produce a unique celebration beer.

Liz Brewer, one of Integrity Print’s account managers, came up with the name ‘Printer’s Pleasure’ for the celebration beer

While the golden ale may have been the work of the brewery, the name ‘Printer’s Pleasure’ was one of more than 100 entries put forward by staff at Integrity as the firm looked to involved as many of its employees as possible in the special scheme.

Liz Brewer, an account manager at Integrity, put forward the winning name and, as a reward, was invited to the 3 Daggers Brewery in Wiltshire to find out more about the brewing process. All members of staff at Integrity Print received a gift pack of the new brew as part of the firm’s birthday celebrations.

“The name Printer’s Pleasure seemed to embody why we are in business; we enjoy what we do and take pride in being part of the team here,” says Integrity managing director Mark Cornford.

Labels for the new beer were designed by the Integrity’s creative agency, BEAF, and printed in-house in full-colour on a Xeikon digital labels press using a bright white self-adhesive material. Each bottle was also uniquely numbered.

Andrew Law, sales and marketing director at Integrity, adds: “2016 was an exciting year for us, as we launched a new brand, Ready Willing and Label to enable our labels business to grow organically in the artisan food and drink market. To then work with one of our brewery clients and to see the creation of our own unique beer has been a fascinating experience.”
