The new Horizon HT-300 three-sided trimmer offers a production speed of up to 1,100 books per hour

Building on the existing HT-30C, IFS says productivity has been enhanced with greater automation throughout, including barcode reading at job input, and easy set up on a 12.1” colour touchscreen.

Other features include simple knife change and adjustment, a quick automated clamp pressure setting, automated stack calibration and memory storage for up to 999 jobs.

The new design also incorporates a number of operator-focused features such as a light system of six colours to indicate a different machine status, including whether it is in standby, fully operational or experiencing an error.

According to IFS, these features support a production speed of 1,100 books per hour.

Eric Keane, managing director of IFS, comments: “The quality results and production benefits delivered by the HT-30C are widely recognised and this more highly automated and faster evolution continues Horizon’s commitment to innovation.

“It can be added to any Horizon perfect binder to support the versatile and responsive inline completion of books.”
