Horizon launches remote demo service

Print finishing equipment manufacturer Horizon has launched a remote bespoke demonstration service to help guide customers through their decision-making and purchasing choices.

Potential and existing customers can see live demonstrations of all Horizon kit

Operated from its Quickborn facility in Germany, the service will see Horizon offer live presentations of its portfolio of solutions including bookletmakers, perfect binders, folders, creasers and trimmers.

Horizon said the appointment-only service will enable customers in the UK and around the world to find out more about its kit without having to travel, which, given the current restrictions in place due to novel coronavirus (Covid-19), will allow Horizon to connect with more clients.

Eric Keane, managing director of Intelligent Finishing Systems, which represents Horizon in the UK, comments: “The dedicated demonstration is tailored to the specific operation so the decision-making team can see for themselves how the system runs and how it can manage their work mix.

“The Horizon team can also make operational suggestions based on their knowledge and highlight opportunities for growth the new addition could open up.”

“Those that then want to see a system more closely can follow up, restrictions notwithstanding, with a visit to an existing nearby customer.

“It is a very time efficient way to understand the benefits delivered and the impact the new investment could make.”
