Flower fans who purchase from Bloom & Wild can now get their deliveries in sustainable, decorative boxes

Bloom & Wild invented letterbox flowers for people to receive even when they’re not in, so long-distance lovers can surprise their better halves with a budding flower hand picked by floral designers.

Sara Blount, sales manager at DS Smith says: “We work very closely with Bloom & Wild to ensure that their unique packaging designs are reproduced in the highest quality. These promotional packs deliver a real visual experience for customers so it’s vital that the packaging and its print is bright and colourful, to give the brand experience that Bloom & Wild are known for.”

The standout design and print of our packaging is vital for our brand, but we also wanted to work with a packaging innovator that shared our views on sustainability – which made DS Smith the perfect fit.

The new packaging will be printed via both digital and lithography, then rolled and laminated. Bloom & Wild was impressed by the high-quality printing results that also reduce the compression of the corrugated flute.

The print process fits in with Bloom & Wild’s sustainable ethos as DS Smith manufactures packaging that comes from 100% recycled sources. Its design ensures that the packaging protects the flowers, uses as little material as possible and can be fully recycled at end of life.

Kerry Dowse, supply operations lead at Bloom & Wild says: “The design of our letterbox pack is based on research that our founder Aron personally undertook, measuring letterboxes to find the perfect size for our flower boxes. The standout design and print of our packaging is vital for our brand, but we also wanted to work with a packaging innovator that shared our views on sustainability – which made DS Smith the perfect fit.”
