The Minuteman Press franchise in Bath has relocated to a new site, doubling its production capacity and offering quicker turnaround times for clients.

The franchise will celebrate its 24th year in business in 2022

The business will this year celebrate its 24th anniversary and has witnessed a rise in demand for its services in recent months and years, leading to the move to its new home.

The location at Pines Way Industrial Estate in central Bath will house the business’s portfolio of print kit, which include two Xerox presses and short run foiling technology.

“In reality, we outgrew Walcot Street and we really could not reach our full potential there,” managing director David Ghent explains, adding: “The new location represents a €1m investment in the business.

“We have two of Xerox’s top end presses and we have added the full range of specialty colours to those, this includes white, fluorescent, gold, silver and clear toners, the range of colours we can really achieve is impressive. We’ve added short run foiling in house and of course our huge vehicle bay means that we can now do sign-writing on cars and vans.”

The franchise also announced that it has secured a new partnership with local football club Bath City, whereby its brand now features on players’ kits.

“For us it’s always been about putting our customers first; we like to help them stretch their marketing budgets as far as possible,” Ghent says.

“Sometimes it’s not about finding the cheapest option, it’s about the maximum return on investment. The success of our customer base is our success. We still have customers today that placed their first orders back in 1998!”
