The investment includes kit from Ricoh, Duplo and Bowe
The business will add two new Bowe Fusion cross inserters with read and print capabilities, as well as two Ricoh IP5000 continuous inkjet print presses, Duplo bookletmakers and a Criterion letter sorter.
bakergoodchild has also upgraded its existing hybrid mail platform and invested further in its multi-channel solutions, in a move it says will help to ensure clients are given channel choice when it comes to their customer communications.
Paul Brough, managing director of bakergoodchild, comments: “These ambitious investments are a big step forward for us and have been a long time in the planning, but this is only the beginning of what will be an exciting 2021 for us.
We are committed to being the single source for all our client’s communication requirements, so we need to always have a competitive edge within our industry”

The new investments come shortly after bakergoodchild expanded onto a second site, while the company also acquire direct mail provider Send DM.
“In order to provide our clients with the best, we need to invest, and there is more to come in the New Year with a brand new customer suite as well as a complete office refurbishment,” Brough adds.
