ABS UK embarks on new journey

In a challenging industry such as the print industry, the key to survival is making smart decisions and investing in equipment or the company itself, which can ultimately offer your customers the best possible service or add to your existing portfolio.

ABS UK has thrived in these conditions, and over the last twelve months has acquired a local IT company based in North Wales, which has expanded their offering to customers through print, copying, and IT solutions. In turn, the print company has added £40,000 per month to its total sales revenue.

David Lees, marketing and CSR director at ABS UK, comments: “We’re delighted with how the rebrand has gone. We wanted to lose the boring tag which is so often associated with our industry—through our new branding, we are looking to portray our personality and vision in an energetic and engaging way.

As a result of our growth, increased service offering, and rebrand we are more likely to be able to attract new clients and show them a better way when it comes to print management services

“We’ve had an excellent last twelve months and we are on track to double our profits by the end of the 2018/19. As a result of our growth, increased service offering, and rebrand we are more likely to be able to attract new clients and show them a better way when it comes to print management services.”

On top of its continued growth, Elland-based ABS has rebranded to fit the model that they were now promoting—with a new tagline, a new website, new uniforms for members of staff, and also a makeover of delivery and service vehicles.

The move seems to have worked, as the company has revealed a record start to this year, with a 37 percent increase in gross profit on January last year. This has led to plans of employing another service engineer, and ABS has partnered with Remploy, which specialise in putting people with disabilities into work.
