Exploring new business ideas

There are many exciting opportunities on the horizon, and with The Print Show in the not too distant future, print-service-providers are getting ready to explore new business ideas.

In this issue of Print Monthly, I have explored the subject of laminating equipment. You would be mistaken to think that laminating is a small area of the market, as when you look into it, you will discover that there is a plethora of options out there that have been designed with ease of use for the operator in mind.

IFS, Komfi Europe, Watkiss Automation, Terry Cooper Services, and Vivid Laminating Systems are the companies of focus, all of which explain how laminating technology has evolved and what solutions they offer as a manufacturer or supplier, along with case studies demonstrating print firms bringing these machines in-house.

Look out also for Watkiss’ exciting news with the launch of a brand new laminator that is the ideal entry level key into the market.

You will also see in this issue the Sign and Digital UK Preview feature. You are probably aware of the crossovers between the signage and print industry by now, but it is still worth noting that there is a lot on offer at this show that will interest printers. The preview feature includes the key highlights and details you need to know to get around the exhibition efficiently.

Exhibitions are an exciting time of the year as they inspire many new ideas, helping to keep the print industry as innovative as it is.

You can read the latest issue in our online archive.
