Surviving exhibition season

Having been to my fair share of exhibitions over the year I have been working with Print Monthly and its sister publication SignLink, I have picked up on some vital tips to getting out unscathed, which will come in useful as we lead up to the mega-exhibition that is Drupa.

In terms of well-being, a pair of comfortable shoes are a must and do not forget to take a bottle of water around with you. This goes for exhibitors and visitors—Drupa is an 11-day event so you will need to keep your stamina up.

One of the most important pieces of advice, however, is to plan ahead. Drupa spans 19 halls, some of which are dedicated wholly to individual companies (Heidelberg, for example, will be exhibiting in the entirety of hall one to showcase its range of technology).

You can search for specific products or exhibitors on Drupa’s website, so it is easy to set out a plan that will make the most of each hall in order, saving you from traipsing from hall one, up to hall 17, back to hall three, and so on.

If you need some inspiration of who to visit at Drupa, we have rounded up some of the most exciting launches taking place in our special Drupa themed kit section. Epson will be showcasing the enhanced features of its energy-efficient SureColor SC-T large-format printers, and Landa will be showing off its Nanographic print technology, and there is plenty more to see at this important international event.

Print Monthly May will be coming to our online archive shortly, while previous issues are also featured.
