The voice of the few, the pain of the many

Globalisation. This is not just a word, or even an idea, it is an ideology that has steamrollered any other form of socioeconomic system that has stood in its way. In its most essential form, its philosophy is that the benefit of the many is worth the suffering of the few. But, if you are willing to sacrifice the few repeatedly, then over time, they start to become the many.

Weathering the howling storm

I sit writing a few days after what will no doubt go down in history as a defining moment for our little, but great, island. To be honest I am a very sad, not for the decision that was taken, but for how we as a nation have dealt with first its making, and then its fallout.

Witnessing print's Mecca

So as I write this I am sitting at Drupa surrounded by all the whirring machinery and fantastic technological innovation that is this global print mecca. My first of port call on day one was the Kodak press conference, which was absolutely packed with media waiting to find out how the firm will set out its stall for the future.
